In this workshop we will learn the basic tenants of Unarmed Hand-to-Hand Stage Combat. We will also explore 5-10 basic moves and learn how to connect them as a means to tell a story.
Lydia Mackay is a theatre artist with 20 years experience on stage, on screen, and in the voice-over realm. She’s an Assistant Professor of Performance in the Theatre Department at TCU teaching a variety of Acting classes, Stage Combat, and Auditioning, to name a few. She holds an MFA in Acting from SMU, and is Certified in Hatha Yoga and Hand-to-Hand Unarmed Stage Combat. She’s a proud member of AEA, is represented by The Mary Collins Agency, and is the Co-Founder/Producing Artistic Director of The Drama Club.
